My family has been living in Bolgheri since 1950. Born and raised here, over time I developed a very close relationship with this land. In 2008, after earning my university degree in viticulture and oenology, I decided to convert the mixed-agriculture-focused family farm to viticulture, with the aim of making wines inspired by the excellence of Bolgheri while expressing my own identity and that of the lands that we have always cultivated.
Being a winemaker has become a life philosophy.
My vision is to be able to bring together, in every bottle, the two factors that are the mark of the winemaker: on the one hand, the technical aspect, rationality, a close bond with the territory, and respect for the surrounding environment; on the other, creativity, interpretation of the vintage, and its unpredictability that at times results in innovating rather than maintaining.
As ours is a small outfit, I can personally follow every step, from the vineyard to the cellar, with a young team working at my side. This modern, family environment allows us to carry out artisanal work always in pursuit of quality and sustainability.
